This ENEEP course on Environmental Monitoring is intended for people interested in gaining practical experience in environmental impact evaluation and monitoring. The course aims to give a theoretical overview of the main topics and perform exercises using the facilities of the Laboratory of Applied Nuclear Energy (LENA) and the nearby Radiochemistry Laboratory of the Chemistry Department to become familiar with sampling, measurement, and control procedures applied to the environmental monitoring of a research reactor plant. One day, I will be dedicated to visiting and reviewing a site's environmental monitoring system during decommissioning.
